Shoormast Lake – Mazandaran

Shoormast Lake is located 6 km from city of the puol sefid(White Bridge). This lake is the only natural lake of the Savadkuh city with an area of 15 thousand square meters and a depth of 5 meters.

The natural lake in the city of Savad kuh, 6 km west of the puol sefid, is located on the high elevations overlooking the city, adjacent to the village of Shoormast.

The scenery of this lake with its surrounding forest covered with old and tall trees of the alder and has made it one of the most beautiful places in the Savadkuh city.

Shoormast Lake has a very good position due to its location on the Tehran-North highway and the existence of two axes of asphalt road and rail.

The village and lake of Shoormasht are located in the southern part of Mazandaran province and southwest of puol sefid city.

Around the lake is a huge coal mining facility, the Veresk Bridge, the Imamzadeh Abdul Haq Subwater, the historic, Lajim tower, Castle of Kong Lo, the Imam Zadeh Shabbalo Flourd, the Imamzadeh of Samula Orfehada, the Kharvah and Narva Rocky Mountains, and many natural places and landscapes.
