Taftan the only semi active volcano across Iran. This mountain is located in the southeast of Iran, in the province of sistan and baluchestan, the border of baluchestan. This mountain, with a height of 3941 meters above sea level, is the tallest baluchestan mountain, with numerous peaks. From the three volcanic craters of this mountain, sulfur is always evaporated. This peak has two tentacles. One in the north is higher, called the ziyarat(pilgrimage), and the other is the southern trench, which is shorter and is called mudeh koh(mountain material).
On the Khash road to Zahedan, if you move from the Khash to the north, after about 20 km, you will see a large road map showing access to the Taftan peak.
